I just moved to Cypress, TX a week ago and really needed a haircut, a perm, and highlights. I feel so so lucky to be able to find my favorite hair salon right away 🙂 I found La V's Hair Salon on Yelp and decided to give it a try. And to be honest, I didn't have high expectations at all at first.
Tina and Vin worked on my hair for almost 4 hours because my hair was really long. I'd had other people telling me how my hair is quite difficult to work with (I have very fine hair but a lot of it, and it's very easy to get tangled). But the 4 hours went by fairly quickly for me because they are very friendly and funny; and Tina really amazed me with her skills. And I'm so happy with the results.

Demi completely rocks my world every single time I go to her. I have been going to her for a few years now and she is absolutely the most talented hairstylist I know. She is the only person I trust with my hair because I know it's going to look incredible every time. She has done vivid reds to full highlights and it doesn't matter what I decide to throw at her, she always nails it. And my hair never feels fried afterwards! I have followed her from salon to salon and even now that I don't even live in Cypress I am still willing to drive to her because it is a 110% worth it.

I've been following La Vs hair salon & heard they were opening a new location near my community so I decided to give it a try!
This new salon was so clean & customer service fabulous- they made me feel right at home and took time to listen to what I wanted which is so important to me. I am skeptical and very picky when it comes to choosing a right hairstylist, but Victoria who was very professional & sweet, knew exactly what I wanted and delivered! My hair was so over grown and brassy, she took time to work on my hair and gave me exactly what I wanted. She specializes in hair color / balayage. I'm so happy I happened upon this amazing salon. A few months ago, Tina gave me a great cut and style, helping my hair look healthy again! Today I went back and booked an appointment with Min for a balayage, cut, and style and I was so nervous. In the last, I never walk out of the salon with what I ask for but WOW was I shocked when Mon explained exactly what she was going to do and gave me exactly what I wanted. My hair looks so blonde and beautiful and she was so careful to ensure my hair would stay healthy and not be damaged. She did such an incredible job and has really made me feel so confident and beautiful before my bachelorette party. I walked in with brassy brown out hair and Min transformed it into a smooth beautiful balayage and I'm so over the moon happy with it! I was offered water and delicious Vietnamese coffee, everyone was so kind and hospitable. I found this place because it's right next to the little Walmart I shop at. The owner was extremely accommodating and got me in last minute, same day, for a balayage. I walked in with overgrown dark roots, brassy orange hair, and uneven color all over. I walked out with beautifully blended blonde hair. Tina is so talented and quick!!! It took only 2 hours for a the hair coloring, toner, wash, cut, and styling. I couldn't stop smiling at the end, I felt pretty again after years of ugly orange hair. I'm so grateful I have found my new stylist and shop. I really hope more people give this place a shot, it's only been open for a few months!
